[H-GEN] Transcoding video from crappy point-and-shoot cameras

I have been doing some transcoding so I can watch shows recorded on 
mythtv through my sons xbox360.
One of our sytems guys put me on to handbrake - it seems pretty good - 
i.e. it gives reasonable control.
