The point has been made recently that a lot of Netbooks run Linux & 
X-Window.  Thus within the next few years a lot of people are going to get 
used to seeing X-Window (Gnome,KDE,whatever) on their netbooks.  For those 
people jumping to a desktop system running a similar environment may not 
be so hard.
