G'day all,
I have a friend who is running a Linksys NSLU2 (original firmware) who
recently, in a fit of exceptional stupidity, managed to format a
partition on one of the attached USB HDDs instead of doing whatever else
it was he meant to do. Of course he didn't read the warning and just
clicked OK - those warnings aren't meant to be taken seriously anyway! :)
So, I've got this drive here now and it has a freshly formatted 200GB
(ish) ZEXT3 partition which I can read perfectly. I cannot read what
was on it before it was formatted, unfortunately, and my Googling for
Ext3 unformatting information hasn't surfaced much that's useful. Hence
my question here.
So, does anyone know of a way to successfully recover from an accidental
reformatting of an Ext3 filesystem?
