Matt, you failed to understand my point. I didn't mean that
people were incapable of printing on both sides of the page
(although many printers still in use cannot easily do that), but
that setting up the document so that different printers would
get the registration of both sides right is a black art.

The reason is so they can vote at the AGM. There are several
people whose membership needs to be renewed so that they can
vote, and they want membership forms so they can renew their
membership.

I usually just skip over infantile insults (as I did up above),
but really this is not an appropriate way to conduct yourself in
public as a member of the Exec.

I don't recall saying I'd do a better job, and I'm certainly not
angling to get on the Exec and would prefer not to be on the
Exec. I have said I'd consider it if people really wanted me
to. The decision to stand will come later, and only if I am
nominated. And even if that happens, it's by no means certain
that people would vote for an old fart in what should be a young
people's club.

As for work, that's something that I do know how to do.

That's your choice and might well be the choice of most
members. That's fine and in fact welcome as far as I'm
concerned. Of course, I will continue to be a good member and
will continue to offer my help with the things that I have
suitable skills to do. Whether the new Exec will want that help
will be up to them.

Greg
