Just to make things clear, Robert has already arranged for a
cheque to be sent to pay for his membership and that will be
handled at the next meeting.
I personally think we should consider reimbursing him for the
Linode he has arranged, but that should wait until after we have
migrated away from it and probably until after the AGM in any
case. It is certainly not a matter of urgency.

I have no idea what kind of emergencies you think might befall
Humbug, but I cannot imagine that we need to have much money in
the bank -- in fact, as a private non-profit body, I think we
probably should not have thousands of dollars sitting around.
As for hosting costs, anybody can spend a couple of minutes
looking at some of the offers out there. I pay less than $150
USD per year for a couplf of VMs in the USA. I can't imagine
that any reasonable hosting would be hard for Humbug to pay for
without either raising membership fees or digging into assets.

PS: Please, please, please trim the useless crap from messages
to the list -- seeing a billion copies of the mailing list
headers and footers in every message is really ridiculous.
