I agree with most of what Russell has put forward. One point though...

"Ensure computer systems work - Librarian."

I thought the title of someone who performs this task was System Administrator.

Were all of Russell's ideas to come to pass, I propose that the Exec position
of Librarian be renamed to SysAdmin. It this means that the constitution has
to be amended, then so be it.  If this cannot be accomplished before the AGM
then I, for one, will be voting as if it had been changed.
