The server is now a Virtual Machine, running somewhere in the US.  Where
it runs may change, but it is unlikely to ever be a physical machine
again.

This has been done.  The new box is a router running OpenWrt.  The only
downside is, last I knew (meeting before last) no-one (literally) knew
the password to it.

I didn't explicitly say it, but I think the library is dead.  No one
brings it along to meetings, and no one seems to care that it isn't
there. Probably because it is easier to just look up whatever
information you want on the Internet.

My personal view is we should just give away whatever is in the library,
and dump anything left over.  However that is just my view, and I not
going to do anything unless a clear majority of the members pushes for
something.  If you decided you didn't want it any more, I guess that
would force the issue.
