[H-GEN] re php contact forms with attachments and Captcha

I would be inclined to suggest reading a couple of decent books rather than
cherry picking a few functions if it's something you're interested in
getting into seriously.

Two that I have seen recommended several times by PHP developers:

O'Reilly's Essential PHP Security:
http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/059600656X/ref=nosim/chrisshiflett-20

PHP and MySQL Web Development:
http://www.amazon.com/PHP-MySQL-Development-Developers-Library/dp/0672329166/ref=pd_sim_b_11

I have only glanced through the second one but it looked like a good
introduction to PHP development w/ MySQL.

As far as CAPTCHAs go, I would recommend http://recaptcha.net/ ; this
appears to have one of the best reputations. We switched to using it a while
ago with some success (it seems to stop most automated spambot things).
