Stewart has now booked his flights, so the dates have finally
been set in stone. Stewart is arriving Friday morning and
will be immediately ensnared by Leisa of Brisbane Marketing.
Leisa's task for Friday will be to make him think Brisbane is
the greatest place on earth, wining and dining him along the
way. I understand the girls at Brisbane Marketing are pretty
good at this sort of thing. I will be tagging along behind
those two. With luck, I might be given something good to eat,
and get pick Stewart's brains about the Twin Han 7045G, a DVB
tuner he worked on a year or two ago. I have three of them
gathering dust on a shelf at home.
I am not sure when Friday ends, but when it does Stewart will
be staying with family. For me Saturday starts again at about
midday, after I lay a slab for a new shed. Sometime after
midday, at a time of Stewart's choosing, I will pick him up.
There after I am planning to follow the schedule I posited on
my last post:

This group _HAS_ to include one of two people, preferably
both: James Iseppi and Jared Ring. Could you two reply here
with your availability. Preferably the rest of the elected
LCA 2010 team will tag along. For most of you it will be
the first time you will see what QUT is offering. If you
do plan join us, be sure to be at Humbug at 4 PM. If
Stewart wants to start the day earlier then I will be
chaperoning him. If want to join us if that happens reply
to this post.
The current plan is to go back to the Humbug meeting after
going through QUT. There after we will engage in the usual
ritual - dinner at the curry joint, then idle chit chat back
at the meeting, and finally make Stewart help with packing
up the meeting. That should show him what a dedicated bunch
Humbug committee members are.
Stewart will be flying out at 15:50 Sunday afternoon. I don't
know what he wants to do Sunday. Most likely he will want to
spend time with his family, but if not I plan to keep him
entertained by drag him around Brisbane, or possibly by taking
him home and getting him to make my 7045G's work. Should he
want to join me for the day, anyone who wants to accompany us
is most welcome. If necessary, I will provide transport.
Tell me at the meeting.
