Sort of on this topic (so I won't create a new thread), but we're soon going
to be looking for experienced Linux users (and/or general experience with
other OSes) to write us some articles soon - primarily gaming related (eg
"how do I play World of Warcraft in Linux") but some other general purpose
stuff as well (eg "how do I install Ubuntu and make it automatically update
from my ISP").
This will be a freelance-type role (ie, we'll just say "we need an article
about X by Y" and you can have at it), no more than 1 article a week, so
might suit someone who has a bit of spare time and is enthusiastic about
open source operating systems.
If you have any interest in such a thing please email resumes and sample
writings (if available - blogs, even mailing list posts are fine if you
think they demonstrate that you can string words together) to me directly.
Thanks,
