You can copy the deb files from /var/cache/apt/archives from the 
machine with the latest packages installed to the same location on a 
machine with older packages and it will install the updates from the 
hard drive instead of downloading them.

This way you can save time and bandwidth. Also if you have a number of 
machines that need updating you can set up your own apt server for 
them to look at.
