This is the page I go to to find out if a wireless card is supported
under linux:

It's not Suse, but if it works on one linux, it's bound to work on
more. Both pcmcia and usb cards are listed.

If you buy the wrong card (or the wrong revision of a card, even
worse) you will have a hell of a time getting it working.
