[H-GEN] Bigpond cable

Hi,

Thanks to everyone who responded.

An off-list reply provided me with the following URL:

This seems to suggest to me that bpalogin is no longer required.

The reason why I ask is that a person I know is signing up with them and 
wants to know if they need anything.  the page says that new users will go 
onto the new system from the start.

I'm presuming that they won't need bpalogin then, just a DHCP client, and 
that all they need to do is register the MAC address which presumably the 
person who installs the cable connection can help them with.

Am I wrong in thinking any of this?
