I'll jump on the no TV bandwagon. Eight months ago I moved from a
place with really lousy TV reception to a place with really good
reception. Ironically, I got too busy seven months ago to watch TV, so
I stopped. Never really missed it, so I never started again.
Both places came with a TV, so I still have one, it just collects dust
in an out of the way corner of my cave.
I also don't listen to the radio, read newspapers, or participate in
any other "news" absorbing exercise. Every now and then "news"
accidentally finds its way into my head. Same old garbage, so I'm not
missing anything. If something actually important happens, I'm sure
I'll hear about it sooner or later.
Bob Hawke is still President of the Republic of Australia, isn't he?
Are we still at war with the Germans and the Japanese? B-)
