[H-GEN] Looking for an older laptop. Windows 95/98 era with a serial com port.

Don't have a laptop, but do have a suggestion.

If you have a laptop with only USB ports, it may be worth trying one 
of those USB to serial converter cables.  Alternatively, one could 
buy a USB adaptor that has serial, parallel, and PS/2 ports.

I have successfully used a USB to parallel converter cable to connect 
a printer.
