I agree with all that.  However:

1.  I did my own 1/2 hearted way approach UQ, and got 
    no response.

2.  Presumably there are people within Humbug who have 
    better contacts within UQ than me and would get 
    better results than me, and if so

3.  now is their chance to step forward and do something.
    They have 3 days to say they are going to, and over a
    week to pop the question.

4.  And finally, that person isn't you, as you are on 
    holidays - I presume not in Brisbane.  But your 
    response may of prodded someone into action, if you had 
    of sent it to the list and they were on it.  (Ie: 
    Marco - time to start shaking the tree.)
