I'm sure some kind soul will let me know if this list isn't the right
place for this..:
I have a large amount of stuff lying around unloved due to things like
girls and overseas travel. Most of it came via HUMBUG members and the
likes so I thought the right thing to do would be to offer it here.
So, here goes..
- one Sun Ultra 10
(UltraSPARC IIi 440MHz, 256MB RAM[1], ~9gb IDE HDD, Creator3D video,
VGA adapter, keyboard and mouse)
- digital AlphaServer 1000A
(64-bit Alpha 5/300, 256MB RAM[2], onboard VGA, two power supplies)
- Stack of HDDs in caddies for above machine: 8x4.3gb, 4x2.1gb
(Machine has 7 StorageWorks slots)
- SPARCstation 20
(60MHz SPARC, 32MB RAM, 4gb HDD, runs at least Solaris 8)
- Empty Sun 411 external HDD enclosure, slightly mutilated
- 5.25" external SCSI enclosure with suitably huge and ancient 9gb drive
- DECstation 5000/20, blazing 20MHz MIPS
- DECstation 5000/240
- DEC keyboards: LK401 and LK402
Some cash for the first couple items would be nice, the rest is free
to the first daring recipient. All currently in Ipswich but I'll most
likely be making several trips to St Lucia/Toowong in the coming weeks
if someone wants me to drop something off. It would be a shame to see
some of the curious junk go to landfill..
cheers,
Steven (what do the desks, benches and floor look like again?) Lawrance
1. Actually 4x128MB of some other brand RAM, Sun must think it's only
half as good. 2x64MB original Sun RAM must be here somewhere.
2. Some of which seems unhappy.
