We use OO fairly frequently. Spreadsheets are easy enough to produce
with it.
I can produce nice bulleted instruction pages for products, do quotes
that look
quite nice, etc. I've never used MS Office as I don't want to pay that much.

Greg, what do you use? I'm interested in what others use for the type of
work
that OO and MS Office are designed for. I mean I use Ultra Edit for most of
my programming and html/php writing needs as it suits the job. I use OO for
all of the fancier text and spreadsheet type jobs. Horses for courses.
