I could not get a response from Centro, so SCM it is. The
table at SCM has been booked.

I have put the details (date, time, location) on
the Wiki.
http://maitri.ubuntu.com/softwarefreedomday/wiki/index.php/Brisbane

You can find a list of things that need doing here:
http://maitri.ubuntu.com/softwarefreedomday/wiki/index.php/Brisbane-Organisation

If you can help email this list, or email me direct. It
would be nice if you could update the Wiki page as well.
I am not about to post my phone numbers and addresses
to this list, but if you want them just email me.

Briefly:

* Manning of the stand. We have two "definites" for Sunday.
More would be good. I can foresee four tasks:
  - Windbagging
  - Buring CD's is we run low.
  - Installing an OSS operating system on shiny new PC
someone has bought at the market.
  - Setup / tear down.
A list of who is coming and when they can be there is on
the Wiki - to give an idea of numbers.

* CD's to hand out. If you burn them we will hand them out,
and if we run out we will burn more. The list of who is
doing what is on the Wiki. If you are going to burn some
please update it so there is no duplication.

I will bring along iso's for:
  - Knoppix
  - TheOpenCD
  - Ubuntu LiveCD
  - Debian Network Install.

Other CD's would be good - even if it is just one we can
  copy.

Hold the press: Pia (Linux Australia) is sending us 100
CD's. I don't know what they are. I will update the
  Wiki when I find out.

* Poster Production. Johann has this covered.

* Pamphlet Production. We need things we can hand out.
Currently we have none. If you produce it, we will hand
it out. Again, if you are going to do something update
the Wiki so we don't have duplication. Some ideas are
  already on the Wiki.

* Insurance. Pia has that covered, or at least thinks she
will by the time the day arrives.

That is all I can think of for now. As my wife keeps
reminding me, I am only a male, so god knows how much
I have forgotten. I you think of something, please
let me, the list of the wiki know!
