I have experience with two: Kwiki, and Twiki (from a user's
perspective). Kwiki is written in Perl and relatively knew, with a very
funky OO design---almost everything is a plugin. This means that it's
easy to replace any part of the functionality you don't like, but the
price you pay is being able to replace any part of the functionality you
don't like. I ran a Kwiki in some personal web space for a time and
found that it made fairly harsh demands of the Perl install there.

Twiki isn't bad, though I'm only a user and not an admin of the Twiki
install I use. I can say that it can be forced to use LDAP
authentication, and seems quite a bit more featureful than Kwiki,
though I don't much care for the syntax.
