Greetings all,
I was wondering what software people are using, on linux, to
automatically detect and configure wireless networks. I had been looking
at waproamd, but the site claims that it has some race conditions which
can't be fixed. It also suggests wpa_supplicant as an alternative - the
only issue there is that supplicant doesn't seem to handle wep for 11b/g
networks. I am onloy using a couple of networks, and for the moment they
are b/g with wep (issues with people only having 802.11b - a standard
that does not support WPA).
Anyhow thanks in advance.
