I was happy to receive Christopher LeMoyne’s message. That was just what
I was hoping for. I can now foresee my webserver working.

When I clicked on the Computer Icon on my FC4 Desktop, a number of Icons
appeared including Filesystem
CD-ROM Drive and and icon with the name 'Network'. I clicked on it and
another screen appeared with the icon above the words 'Windows Network",
which I think I set up under windows. It has that it was 'owned' by root.

As I said, I had installed FC4. It was running well and I could access
the web from it, I thought. Today, I find that I cannot under FC4. I
seem to remember that I could ‘ping’ between and saw on some display the
amount of traffic in both directions between the boxes, but now I think
that was in Windows.

bash: ifconfig: command not found

2808 pts/1 S+ 0:00 grep –i httpd
