Absolutely! The only problem with this idea is that it may be confusing
to Joe User. But there's no reason why we can't have a BSD daemon
hanging around ;)

While we're at it, why not give out OpenOffice.org for Windows as well?
If it's about software freedom and not just *nix that would make sense.
Get Sun onboard if we can and flog it for all it's worth.
Is it possible to get AUUG in on the action? AUUG doesn't have a
Queensland chapter, but since they are the national Unix user group body
they fit with HUMBUG nicely and may be willing to help with some of the
costs in exchange for some advertising for their conference.
I'd be happy to help with making pamphlets or things like that. I can't
man a stall, though, mainly because a fussy baby is not a good way to
attract people!
