Hmm ... I wonder how much.

Or laptops living on batter for a couple of hours. If we have to cover 6
hours we could have 3 laptops running one at a time for two hours each.
As each one died we powe up the next one.

Knoppix or other live CDRoms might be ok. Something that does good h/w
detection and provides some good apps for users to play with. Labels
would be nice but not essential.

Q & A?

What is Linux?

What can Linux do for me?

Is it really free?

How many would we need? I'd say 100 might be sufficient to start. If we
made it generic enough they would not go to waste and could be reused
later.

Nah, leave 'em unfolded :)

f) A big sign that says "Software Freedom Day".

There is also a big sign somewhere that says "HUMBUG". I haven't seen
that in years.

My (small) car is available for transportation related to the exercise.
Computers, small folding tables, people. Just tell me what you may need
the car for and I'll tell you if it fits :)

One option is to gather everything we need (except the laptops) and have
it all in one place the night before. Ideally it could already be packed
in a car since market days start early.

Yes that's a good thing to have on the flyer.

Could get huge if we open it :) I'd say let's keep it to HUMBUGgers but
if someone really seems interested we could always invite them along to
talk OSS on an informal basis.
