[H-GEN] Skype (OSS issues)

Hi Guys,

btw, Skype is great!

I have a problem with it atm though, since it uses OSS.

I often get "Problem with sound device" and I presume that skype is
unable to get a lock on the sound device /dev/dsp0

I am using AOSS (ALSA-OSS emulated).

Can anyone offer any solutions that might work to fix this problem ?
Currently the only way around it is to close Skype and restart it. I can
start up skype for instance, call someone, then hangup and cannot make
any further calls untill skype is restarted.

I thought a possible solution would be to mix OSS audio much the same
way as what the ALSA dmix plugin does. However my attempts at doing this
have either failed, or simply don't work with skype.

I'm running SKype 1.2.0.11
