Not Maxtor[1].
Western Digital is the brand I've had the least failures with, and
assuming I can't get those, Seagate.
I can only recall one Western Digital failure in the last 4 or so years.
I've had a resonable number of Seagate failures, but the SMART
information always gave me plenty of warning.
I have pulled apart plenty of Maxtors that have failed. The drive
magnets are excellent at holding unfolded maps onto the ceiling of a 4wd.
[1] Nobody had said it yet, and this is H-GEN.
