I'd watch myself if I were you. The windows version contains some lovely
spyware (apparently). Not surprising really since Skype comes to you
from the makers of Kazaa. Back when Kazaa was semi-usable, they made a
linux version. It was utter rubbish.
There are better alternatives for VoIP on Linux. Have a search on
http://slashdot.org/ where this story broke several days ago. If you can
wade through the comments there's some good suggestions.
