Hi All,

Quite a few months back when I first ran across Skype
(http://www.skype.com/) I was disappointed to see that they didn't have a
Linux version. So I hunted and found a petition that a few people had
signed, and I added my name to it. Well, recently I received an email saying
that the amount of people who had signed the petition had made them decide
to write a Skype for Linux, and then late last night I received an email
saying that Skype for Linux is now available. They now have Windows, Pocket
PC, and Linux versions available.

Oh, the power of many voices - it is good to see that a program as useful as
Skype, using a proprietary protocol, can be encouraged to write a version
for Linux. Sure, it is binary only, but that's definitely better than not
having a version available at all.
