I'm sorry that you see it like that.  Some of your responses
came so long after the stuff that they referred to that I may
have got the details confused.  But all I was doing there was
responding to your latest post, as it stood.

I didn't change the spec; I noticed a bug in the quickly edited
code that I first posted and corrected my code.

All I have done is discuss the code; I'm not sure why you want
to turn that into some kind of conflict.  If you don't want
people to respond to your posts, you know what to do.

The BSD tools are the standard; but, even if I felt they were in
some way deficient, there would be no reason for *me* to feel
any kind of embarrassment over that -- I had nothing to do with
their creation.
