If someone uses a single *opinion* to make their decision then they
deserve what they get :)

Not small business owners that's for sure. There are several reasons I
keep Windows on my workstation:

1. Games for my son
2. Testing purposes for my Linux server.
3. MYOB

In developing JDS was there any sort of work done on WINE (or similar
app) so that it would be possible to run Windows apps?

If all you want is:

1. An OS.
2. Write some documents/spreadsheets/presentations.
3. Surf the web/read e-mail

then JDS may just be for you. If you want much/anything more from the PC
then I think the ordinary user should probably pay the once off fee for
Windows.

I think most members of HUMBUG aren't zealots and already have the
attitude of horses for courses. Some times even an old beaten up cripple
nag is useful to run MYOB :)
