[H-GEN] Java vs Anything flame war (?)

I have two rules of thumb.
For applications, if I see it's written in Java, I can stop assessing it
and say, "It runs like a corpse. It has the wrong look and feel on
every platform."
For libraries, if it's written in C++, I can stop assessing it and say,
"C++ was a horrible, horrible mistake."
:)
C# I have little opinion on. Qt got itself a bad name in my mind with
its long standing inflexibility with respect to language bindings.
Their recent(ish) efforts are "too little, too late."
:)
Oh, and while I'm stating opinions that others will shout at me for,
Zope sucks, and PHP/JSP/et al are the worst idea to ever hit web
development.
:)
