[H-GEN] ADSL Problems

Hi Guys,

Perhaps one of you intelligent people might be able to help me solve a
problem :)

I am having incredible problems with my ADSL connection, yet my ISP
assures me there is nothing wrong on their end, however I keep getting
PADT packets and my connection terminating "LCP Terminated by Peer" ...

My ISP also assures me that other people connected at my exchange are
not experiencing problems as I am.

If you look at the attached logs, you'll see two disconnections, one at
0800 approximately last night (30th Apr), and another again at midnight
today.

Last night at 0800 the phone rang twice and I spoke with it. A few
minutes later the connection dropped (ADSL). This made me suspicious of
the filter on that phone and the phone, so I disconnected. However the
midnight disconnection proved that it was just a coincidence.

I'd appreciate any help in the matter,

I have googled only to find a lot of pages and text in languages I do
not understand :)
