Subject: [SAGE-AU-JOBS] Network Engineer - Linux

A permanent position is available for an experienced network engineer
for a multi-national entertainment company based on the Gold Coast.

The role involves design and support of a worldwide WAN, as well as LAN
support and engineering for the Asia Pacific region (9 countires in
all).  The position is part of a global network engineering team and is
based out of Southport, Queensland.

The candidate must have extensive knowledge and experience of Linux
based VPN (VTUN, ZebOS), network security,  and TCP/IP networking
concepts at a large scale design level.

Essential skills are good working knowledge of Checkpoint NG, iptables,
tunnelling protocols, and Linux platform hardening. Extensive OSPF
knowledge is required as well as general Cisco networking skills to CCNP
level.   Experience with VoIP would also be considered favourably.

We are looking for someone who is a good team player and willing to
share knowledge and mentor other staff for this challenging and
rewarding role.

Renumeration is negotiable.
