Yes, it was at that event.  I think we had a hard drive, a DVD drive,
and a power supply fail on us that LAN.

The hard drive in my case though was a couple of months _outside_ of its
warranty period.  So I'm guessing it's O'Toole at work, not dear old Murphy.

I've managed to get the drive to work since then -- but I don't trust it
with mission critical data.  Makes a nice paperweight though ;-)
