Isn't the Star Office stuff simply part of the deal that Telstra made
with Sun Microsystems for upgrading their (40.000?) desktop machines and
other stuff. It was a tender months ago, with HP and IBM also bidding.
The interesting bit about that was that none of the three were offering
Microsoft solutions, and Microsoft was really miffed.

Anyway, I do think it's good. Please do keep us informed about how
people are liking Star Office within Telstra. It would be a very
positive thing if such a large organisation is able to move over without
too much hassle.

Regards,
Arjen.
