Daniel Geriko has been dobbed in, so I'll respond on his behalf.
But it could simply be the version of libGL you have. Mesa used to
come in two versions, one being Glide driven GL, and the other being
plain GL through whatever traditional interface is avaiable.

Looks like you've got a glide enabled GL. You could also try changing
your GL context to something like GLX.
