Greetings,

I am planning on installing debian on a laptop at the meeting this
saturday. I have been playing around with trying to get it to boot
various images from the cdrom but it seems to have issues with most of
the existing netinst disks. I was wondering if anyone had an idea on
where I might find a suitable netinst ISO or any comments on which of
the various versions of the boot disks I might want.

I have had a look at the current series of stable disk images for debian
and had some concerns:
pcmcia support - the network card is a 3com pcmcia
cdrom support - can I burn base and drivers onto a cd to speed
                      things up

The laptop is a toshiba satellite 2750 - PIII 600 128MB ram I managed to
pick up cheap. There is docs out there about configuration issues on
these, just not on installation.

Any help is appriciated

Nikolai
