Hi all,

I'm stumped (which doesn't necessarily mean it is a complex problem :)

My server on Rackshack is up and working fine. I can access the web
pages from any computer except any on my system at home. It was all
working fine last week and haven't made any changes.

Here are the details:

The site: www.qfm.org.au (there are others but this is the shortest url)
The IP: 216.127.68.19
My configuration:
Both the following do not work
Win XP dialling into optusnet or Win XP and Debian stable connecting
through a Snapgear VPN Router that dials into the optusnet connection.

What does work:
I can in both configurations, ping the server, get a complete
traceroute, ftp the server (haven't tried on the debian box as I don't
know the commands), receive email from the server, get any other site on
the www.

What doesn't work:
I can not access the web site using either IE 6 or links on the
respective machines. It times out.

I have contacted Rackshack, but the site works. I have contacted
Optusnet and we have gone through all the configuration, eventually they
said that as I can ping and traceroute that they are serving the sites
and it is something on my system.

Here is the tracert (win xp as that is the box I am on at the moment):
Tracing route to www.qfm.org.au [216.127.68.19]

15 368 ms 441 ms 431 ms zeus.aether.com.au [216.127.68.19]

Trace complete.

Anyone got any ideas why this could happen?

My logic brings me to conclude that:
It is not the rackshack server - as I can see the site from work and
other places
It is probably not the optus net connection - as I can traceroute and
they tested it on their dial up machine.
It is not the snapgear router as it doesn't work when I connect directly
with win xp
It is not win xp - as it doesn't work on the debian box connecting via
the snapgear router

Which leaves me with the fact that nothing could be wrong :(

Is there anything else I can try?

Thanks

Paul
