I have been playing with the LindowsOS boot from CD for a little while, so
that I can add it to my general "boot from any OS across the network"
server. There is some hardware it doesn't like very much, and it gets
stuck in a loop. It gets as far as finishing the KDE login (KDE splash
screen goes away) and then resets to just before X starts up. This happens
on some boxen, but it works fine on others. Knoppix offers much the same
"boot into X from CD" capability but seems to be more stable. On the other
hand, LindowsOS is closer to a Windows experience, so might be more suited
to weening people from the Gates of Borgdom, if it works.
