I've just done that..:)
The base installations ran (mostly) smoothly.
Debian went on first, leaving hda1 with type C for XP.
I couldn't convince grub to boot XP if it was installed onto fat32,
rather than ntfs, but XP left everything where i put it..
God it's ugly though.. I'll be glad to get the thing out of my house..:)

Now i'm trying to make the network go under linux.:)
