Tell me about it, at the university, they've got a UNIX machine called
'Gucis', it's a Dual Sun Ultra 2 400MHz box running Solaris, and the
default shell is csh.
It's default window manager was TWM too, this $#@t me off something
cronic, so I changed my default session to CDE, problem solved there (we
use XDMCP from windows boxen to log in graphically) but I've tried the
chsh command to change my shell with no success.
At the moment, the first command I enter is bash, to get the
Bourne-Again shell, but I'd preferr it if I could just open a console
and have bash straight away.
How do you change the default shell in Solaris without root privledges?
