>From memory KaZaA does do file transfers the same way HTTP does, it's
just that it is on a different port. This *IS* from memory. I know for
sure KaZaA used to this though I'm not too sure about the latest
releases of KaZaA.

I don't believe either of these programs use the http protocol to
transfer
so i don't think you could get squid to cache them.
