What, Optus phone line? What does that have to do with Optus Cable?

I'm not exactly sure what to avoid, but check the hylafax (or your
preferred product) documentation, as not all modems are supported.
Also try and find something that does voice (good luck, let me know if
you find one) since you can then use it as an answering machine.
