I've used Xine, and hate it. The UI looks nice, but it often misbehaves,
and the video playback that I've managed to obtain has been horrendous.
I've had much better success with some of the others available (OMS, Ogle,
VideoLAN). My favourite is MPlayer. The user interface isn't as nice (I
tend to use the keyboard controls) but it does it's job wonderfully.
