I have a copy of this somewhere - not sure if it was the last one
produced. A certain Humbugger (not me) is even quoted in the file.

I'm running a calendar month based backup schedule. I'm prepared to wear
the fact that the exact number of level 5 dumps varies from month to
month. I keep dumps in the staging area for as long as possible, and have
cron clear them out when the get too old. I typically carry the levels
0,1 & 2 for 6 months and the level 5s for a month. For me, recovery of
very old files is less important than being prepared for a full recovery
in the event of a disaster.
