Finally something I can help with. This is what I do. Not sure how much you
already know etc, so probably the best thing is for me to give you some code
for a simple shopping cart. Then we'll have a base to work with and I can
answer any questions you have.
I have a simple (i.e.. no fancy graphics or colours etc) cart for a demo at
http://www.rallyit.com have a play with it, you can add and remove products
etc, it's only a demo and see if it's something like what you are looking
for. (Note: the checkout and credit card processing isn't available) I'll
make the source available at http://www.aus-e.com/humbugcartcode/ (give me
10 min's). Download it and modify/play etc. I'll include the SQL that you
will need to set up the database. If your not to good with command line
mySQL you can use phpMyAdmin (from sourceforge) it will help a lot.
If you want to see what it can look like it's working in full at
http://www.exclusiverights.com.au (but that's a real site so don't try the
credit card processing unless you really want to buy, as it costs money even
to verify a bogus card)
I'll be happy to help you through it, just let me know.
