This means the X file could not execute. when you install new drivers they
should create a symlink (/etc/X11/X) to the driver's executable, i'm
thinking in your case the install never completed so the symlink is missing,
so you probably need to create a new symlink to your original executable to
restore the old behaviour. Anyone correct me if i'm wrong.
