Every time I use either KDE or GNOME, I see lots of bugs in the
desktop stuff and dozens of core dumps from various bits and
pieces of the system (not to mention machines that run slower
than they should because the desktops are so bloated).  So the
question is: do you just ignore the crashes and keep going or
are you somehow luckier than me?

Me neither, which is why I'm still using an fvwm config I put
together years ago -- it's good enough that I don't feel I have
to change it, although it's way different from what I'd like.
