Yeah, I didn't bother to mention this.  The support for them was still very
dodgy last time I tried (Canon N650U, about a month ago) and the images I
got looked bloody terrible compared to what the windows drivers produce.  I
think it was only giving out 8 bit colour.  I will probably try it out again
from time to time and see how it goes.
