Well, the way it has turned out isn't what I wanted.

What I would like is for there to be no cables run in walkways. The way I
thought we might achieve this was to put the main switch in the center of
the room, hubs around it and use the lighting framework for networking of
these.

As I understand it, we could not do that last meeting without dislodging
the laptop-people who lurk behind the front bench.

The 'monkey business' largely started when a certain single-minded
individual insisted on bringing up his server at the Brismesh-HUMBUG joint
meeting. I didn't want him running cables along the ground, and so it all
began... Yep, definitely signs that I am going soft.

Maybe the best thing would be to move the switch forward and simply
tape-down the network cable from hydra to the switch. I'm really not
quite sure. :-)
